Ankur Bhaumik

With over 30 years of extensive experience spanning across Tyres, FMCG, Retail, and Processed Food sectors, Ankur’s expertise lies in supply chain management and operations. He has spent the last 14+ years contributing significantly to the growth and success of MTR Foods / Orkla India. Prior to his tenure at Orkla India, Ankur held key positions at reputable companies such as JK Tyres, Dabur, and Reliance Retail.

Ankur joined MTR in 2009 and played a crucial role in setting up the Supply Chain function. His responsibilities included overseeing strategic procurement, Sales and Operations Planning (SNOP), logistics, contract manufacturing, and packaging development. In 2016, Ankur transitioned into a more comprehensive role, taking charge of end-to-end supply chain management, which encompassed manufacturing, quality control, environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance, and project management.

Currently, Ankur holds the position of Director of Operations at Orkla India, where he oversees operations across all business units. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Ankur actively contributes to the industry as the Chairman of the Agro & Food Processing Committee at the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC).
